Peri 2024 consists of 42 cups. The number 42 represents my current age and the average age of the onset of perimenopause. Perimenopause, like many other health problems facing women, trans and gender diverse people, has been hidden or neglected in mainstream medicine. This work highlights my personal experience of perimenopause and acts to create dialogue—allowing knowledge to arise from the shadows.
